Residence permit for citizens of Ukraine in Georgia
Obtaining a residence permit in Ukraine for citizens of Georgia is very popular now. To work or another purpose is not always enough to have ordinary visa. For the citizens of Georgia, the procedure of obtaining a residence permit does not differ from that which is prescribed for another countries citizens. Depending on the purpose there are two types of residence permits: temporary and permanent.
A temporary residence permit allows you to stay in Ukraine for the year in terms of 90/180. It has expiration period so each time you need to prolong it. To obtain a temporary residence permit is required to submit prescribed list of documents to state authorities. Most recent purpose for obtaining residence permit is employment.
Permanent residence permit is issued once and it has expiration date. To obtain a permanent residence permit to a foreigner must pass procedure prescribed by law of Ukraine. Even if a you are not in a quota list proveded by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, it does not mean that you can not get a permanent residence permit. Outside the quotas there are several purposes for obtaining permanent residence permit.
How residence permit in Ukraine can be obtained by citizen of Georgia?
Once the type of residence permit is defined, it is time to think about how to get a residence permit in Ukraine citizens of Georgia. The procedure for obtaining a residence permit is standard. First is a list of required documents:
- national passport, valid for at least three months after the expiration date of the requested visa and having at least 2 blank visa designated pages;
- purpose of entry.
- 2 photos – recent, passport-sized;
- Valid medical insurance.
- document confirming the absence of alcohol and drug addiction
